This privacy policy applies to the Sparky Discord application (referred to as “bot” or “Service” hereafter) found as Sparky#2406. It explains how we use, store, protect, and share user data through use of our Service.
Sparky is a bot that challenges users to guess Geometry Dash levels. We only store the necessary data to track and compare users’ progress in the game. It is worth noting that no user data is stored whatsoever before you use the bot. However, if you wish to have your data removed, this can be done at any time. More information can be found below.
Data Storage
After using our bot on Discord, the following data is stored:
- Your user ID. This is a unique number tied to your Discord account.
- Your game statistics. More specifically, how many levels you have guessed correct (“progress”), your achievements, “Creator Points”, banners, badges, and “Racing time”. All of these are earned by playing the Geometry Dash level guessing game. Several of these are directly linked to a server ID specifying what server you played in.
- Your username, but only if you have donated to support the bot. Supporting allows for more customization of your profile.
Your user ID may be used to access your username, your Discord tag (username and discriminator), and your profile picture. This is, however, never stored in the Service.
Data Access
The limited data we collect, listed above, may be displayed publicly in the bot through:
- Server leaderboards. This displays a specific server’s statistics, ranked by user from highest to lowest. If you have used Sparky and share a server with the bot, your tag may be visible for other users alongside your progress or Creator Points.
- Profiles. This displays a specific user’s statistics, showcasing their tag, progress, achievements, Creator Points, Racing time, and banner (chosen by the user or set by default).
- Global leaderboards. Here, a limited amount of the top users statistically, roughly 100, across every server are shown. By default, your username is hidden, but you can toggle this on using a specific command.
This data may also be accessed privately by the developers to aid in cheating detection. See the Terms of Service for more details. No data is shared outside of Discord nor sold to any third parties.
Data Storage Length
The limited data we collect, listed above, is stored as long as the Service functions or until data deletion is requested, as explained below.
Data Request
Requesting your data is not possible. Checking your profile in the bot shows everything. To request data deletion, email vipringd@gmail.com providing user ID or message @qimiko on Discord. Please note that the Service may become unavailable to you after data deletion. If you specifically wish to opt out of the application entirely, making it ignore your messages on Discord as a whole, specify that in your request.
